HIRING: Process / Quality Associate 

We are looking to hire an experienced process / quality associate to monitor and maintain our production processes, procedures and work instructions. As a process / quality associate, you will be required to analyze existing processes, procedures and work instructions and work with management to ensure a safe working environment, improve production times, reduce cost and ensure product quality.

To ensure success as a process / quality associate, you should have in-depth knowledge of mechanical processes, advanced technical skills, and a keen eye for detail. Ultimately, a top-notch Process Associate ensures the smooth running of the company’s processes to improve production rates and reduce costs.


Process / Quality Associate Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing company processes for delays, obstructions, and weaknesses.
  • Advising on process upgrades to improve production rates and reduce costs.
  • Perform incoming goods, in process, paint and final product inspections.
  • Oversee product performance tests and ensure that specifications as well as customer requirements are met.
  • Perform tool and production equipment audits and make recommendations for replacement / improvement
  • Troubleshooting processing issues.
  • Maintaining machinery supply inventory.
  • Notifying Quality Assurance personnel of production flaws.
  • Ensuring production processes adhere to safety and quality regulations.
  • Ensuring production area is clear of obstructions and contaminants.
  • Creating production process reports.


Process / Quality Associate Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in process management or engineering.
  • Previous experience as a process associate.
  • Advanced knowledge of process systems software and/or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
  • High-level technical skills.
  • Advanced communication skills.
  • Analytical thinker.
  • Ability to lift and operate heavy equipment.
  • Advanced mechanical skills.


Vogelsang USA is located in Ravenna, Ohio.  Our company has been in business since 1929, and has 22 locations worldwide.  At the Ravenna facility, we assembly, repair, paint and test a full range of Vogelsang products.


This position will report directly  to the VP of Operations, and wields a heavy influence of practices and procedures, with the authority to stop production or shipment for deficiency in quality or non-conforming procedures. This is a new salaried position, day shift, with paid medical, matching 401K, paid vacation and holidays. This position may require travel to our other global facilities for the exchange of ideas and training.

HIRING: Industrial Painter - 1st Shift

Industrial Painter Job Duties and Requirements:

  • Safely perform all painting processes to ensure parts are conforming to specification and industry requirements
  • Prepare workspace for parts to be painted
  • Clean or degrease parts as needed
  • Set up, adjust, and maintain spray guns properly
  • Select and mix paint to specifications
  • Apply prime and finish coat to all products in a timely manner with paying attention to detail
  • Ensure quality requirements are met
  • Able to read and follow work orders to determine and confirm any special mil requirements
  • Adhere to all safety, quality and operating procedures and maintain a clean work area.
  • Perform any safety checks and preventative maintenance on equipment / booth, as required
  • Ability to stand up to 8+ hours in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to operate overhead cranes   
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
  • Perform other duties as assigned


We are looking for:

  • Previous work experience painting a variety of surface types
  • Understand technique to meet coating and thickness desired
  • Proficient with and physically able to operate technical equipment if needed
  • Strong attention to detail, with a safety conscious mindset to eliminate hazards

  • Basic computer skills
  • Previous experience operating a forklift is highly desired

HIRING: Marketing Communications & Content Specialist

*Position can be remote or hybrid (NE Ohio)
 

POSITION OVERVIEW: 

We are looking for a well-rounded communications professional who’s comfortable working within a marketing software platform and using digital tools. We’d like to have someone that understands digital strategy but is also capable of being hands-on in creating and executing campaigns. You’ll collaborate with our small internal team in the creation, execution and monitoring of marketing campaigns in the B2B engineered products sector. Daily/weekly activities will be tied to email campaigns and managing digital assets, with a focus on generating content that drives lead generation and supports lead nurturing.

  • We expect some training will be required, but we are looking for someone who is comfortable using Pardot (Hubspot, Marketo, or a comparable combination of email and digital tools). Ideal candidate can work with minimal oversight and is comfortable working in a remote setting. 
  • Experience in a B2B sales environment or an industrial marketing background is a plus.
  • Looking for someone willing to grow with the marketing department and embrace tough business challenges. As a small company, everyone at Vogelsang has a direct impact on their department and beyond. We are looking for someone that’s comfortable delivering professional marketing pieces right away, but also able to adapt as we grow.

Education and/or experience -- 4-8 years’ experience at a marketing/PR/Communications agency or internal marketing department with proven experience in email and digital marketing. College: BA degree or equivalent experience in communications, marketing, PR or similar multidiscipline background.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work directly on email campaigns, managing associated landing pages, dynamic lists, and drip campaigns in Pardot/Salesforce. 
  • Assist in creating and publishing content for the web and social media 
    • Inclusive of handling various administrative duties within our website’s CMS. 
    • Working on email campaigns and scheduling webinars. 
    • Managing dynamic marketing lists and basic department reporting.
  • Help plan, write, and execute content based on a monthly calendar, including assisting with trade show activity and webinars. Strong writing and editing skills are a plus.
  • Work with distribution partners to supply marketing support and generate content (case studies, advertising and press releases)
  • Learn about and research a variety of industrial markets from wastewater to wine production.
  • Travel: minimal, based on the need for training, attending occasional conferences, and visiting with customers or distribution partners
